6-1-11: STREET VENDORS 1 :
Any vendor of merchandise desiring to make a temporary stopping place in any street to sell or vend such merchandise or to advertise the same shall first obtain a permit from the mayor to do so. If the public interest shall in no way be prejudiced or the public annoyed or discommoded thereby, the mayor may grant permission to such vendor to occupy the particular portion of the street designated for a period not exceeding three (3) hours at any one time. If, after giving such permission, said interests are shown to be prejudiced, or public travel and convenience are in any way interfering with the public, the mayor shall have power to revoke any such permission so granted, and all rights and privileges thereunder shall thereupon cease.
