All sidewalks and crosswalks constructed in any street, alley, avenue or public ground or place shall be constructed under the supervision of, and the material and workmanship thereof shall be subject to the approval of the board of trustees. All sidewalks, crossings and spaces beneath sidewalks shall be subject to the control and regulations of the board of trustees. No person shall acquire, hold, or use the same for private use. Where public sidewalk is removed or damaged as part of a construction project, it shall be the responsibility of the property owner that caused such work to take place, to replace or repair the sidewalk as necessary. Any replacement of gravel or reseeding in public ways caused by this project will be the responsibility of homeowner that caused such work. (Ord. 2022-02, 2-8-2022)
