A. On Streets: Any person operating a snowmobile shall not operate such snowmobile on any village street except to make a direct crossing of such street as provided in 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 40/5-1 et seq., and said person shall strictly observe all traffic signs and signals and all other traffic rules and regulations applicable thereto.
B. Speed Limit: No operator shall drive a snowmobile in excess of ten (10) miles per hour within the village limits.
C. Obedience To Police: In addition, each person operating a snowmobile shall obey the orders and directions of any police officer of the village authorized to direct or regulate traffic.
D. Route To Permitted Snowmobiling Area: Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, a person may operate a snowmobile within ten feet (10') of a village street solely as a route from the snowmobiler's home to an area where snowmobiling is permitted and to return. (Ord. 2002-03, 4-9-2002)
