§ 37.22 PURCHASING AGENTS.
   (A)   The President of the Redevelopment Commission and the President of the Park and Recreation Board shall be a purchasing agent of the Purchasing Agency for which they serve unless and until the Purchasing Agency files a written statement terminating such status with the Clerk-Treasurer of the town. The Purchasing Agency may also restrict the authority of its respective Purchasing Agents by filing such a written statement with the Clerk-Treasurer of the town.
   (B)   The city's Fiscal Officer (Clerk-Treasurer), the Town Superintendent, the Police Chief, the Police Clerk, the Fire Chief, the Clerk-Treasurer Office Manager, the grounds keeper of the Cemetery Board, and the 1st Lieutenant of the Police Department shall each be a Purchasing Agent for the Town Council as a Purchasing Agency for purchases for their own respective departments or operations unless and until the Town Council as Purchasing Agency files a written termination statement terminating such status with the Clerk-Treasurer of the town. The Town Council as Purchasing Agency may also restrict the authority of any of the within named Purchasing Agents by filing a writing with the Clerk-Treasurer of the town.
