§ 32.02 FRIENDS OF THE DEPOT COMMITTEE.
   (A)   That there shall be a Committee consisting of five or more but not to exceed ten members to assist the town’s needs and purposes above set forth regarding the Historical Depot.
   (B)   The members shall be of legal age and residents of Waterloo, Indiana and shall be appointed by the Town Council President with the approval of the Town Council.
   (C)   The Committee shall meet and elect officers.
   (D)   The Committee shall be under the jurisdiction of the Town Council and the Town Council may modify the Committee purpose and powers at any time and the Town Council retains authority for final approval of the Committee recommendations.
   (E)   The Committee shall assist in furnishing, decorating and coordinating the interior design, for the Amtrak Train Station and Waterloo Community Building, oversee project to furnish the interior for re-opening the Historic Depot including doing fundraising, assemble memorabilia and methods of displaying historic artifacts, design displays, help arrange a public clean-up day to prepare it for re-opening, coordinate ribbon-cutting activities, help raise public awareness. And further after the Depot is re-opened, they would continue with oversight of the Waterloo memorabilia and operation of the Historic Train Station Building. And, they have the power to do any and all reasonable necessary acts to accomplish these purposes, as described above.
   (F)   Any funds raised by the Committee shall be under the supervision and control of the Clerk-Treasurer of the town, held in a separate fund account for said purpose. Any expenditures are subject to Town Council approval.
   (G)   Said Committee shall report to the Town Council periodically as requested by the Town Council but at least quarterly.
