(A) Pursuant to I.C. 36-8-3-20 and I.C. 36-5-7-6, a Police Reserve Unit is hereby established for the town, said unit to be named the Waterloo Police Reserves and to have no more than ten members. These members shall be residents of the State of Indiana and must reside within a 25-mile radius of the intersection of S.R. 427 and U.S. 6.
(B) The Police Reserves shall be appointed from time to time by the Town Marshal in accordance with all pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
(C) The rules governing the Police Reserves and any subsequent amendments thereto shall be submitted to the Town Council for their approval, disapproval, or amendment.
