§ 154.01 PERMITS.
   (A)   Except as noted below, no fences shall be installed without first obtaining an Improvement Location Permit from the Zoning Administrator. All applications for fences or walls shall contain a drawing for the lot, which also shows the location, material, and height of the proposed fence(s) and/or wall(s).
   (B)   A permit shall not be required for the following:
      (1)   A retaining wall, hedge, or other landscape planting;
      (2)   Corner boundary markers that are four feet, or less, in height, and extend eight feet, or less, from the corner in two directions along the property line;
      (3)   A landscaping trellis six feet, or less, in height, and 20 feet, or less, in length;
      (4)   Construction fences, or similar fences, installed to provide temporary security and/or safety;
      (5)   Snow fences from October 1 to April 1, only.
