(A) Whereas Maplewood Cemetery, Inc., operates a cemetery within the corporate limits of the town; and whereas an association of lot owners operates an adjoining cemetery within the corporate limits of said town, said association being known as Waterloo Cemetery Association; and whereas both groups have voted, in elections by the members, all members having been given due and legal notice thereof, to transfer and convey all of their assets, both real and personal, including all endowment funds, to the town so that said cemeteries may be together constituted as a municipal cemetery.
(B) The Board of Cemetery Trustees now accepts the transfer of said assets to said town, said transfers to be effective January 1, 1950; and hereby constitutes the cemeteries, heretofore known as the Waterloo Cemetery and Maplewood Cemetery, a municipal cemetery, to be managed and controlled, including all endowment funds, by this Board.
