§ 90.05 REPTILES.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person or corporation owning, possessing, harboring, or having the care of any reptile to allow said reptile to move about at large on the streets of this town. It shall also be unlawful for any person to publicly display said reptiles except if they are confined within a completely enclosed cage or compartmentalized container. Such display will first require the purchase of a permit from the Clerk-Treasurer. Said permit will cost $50. Permit applicant must also show proof of liability coverage in the amount of $1,000,000.
   (B)   The Town Marshal or authorized officer of the town is authorized and directed to take up and impound any reptile found to be in violation of this section. The reptile is to be returned to the owner upon payment of a $100 fine. If the fine is not paid within 48 hours, the Town Marshal or authorized officer of the town is directed to dispose of the reptile.
