The Town Marshall and/or Street Commissioner be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to erect temporary traffic controls at such points in the city as may, in their judgment, be necessary and expedient for the safety of vehicular traffic and pedestrians. Failure to obey such controls shall subject the offender to the penalties provided by this traffic code.
