§ 156.37 MAIN DRAIN.
   The main drain from every building shall be laid outside the walls of the building so far as is practicable and shall have a trap and fresh air inlet located through the cellar wall. This fresh air inlet shall connect with the outer air by a pipe not less than four inches in diameter. The opening shall be properly protected with iron box or by other means acceptable to the City Engineer.
