§ 156.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   LEADER PIPE. Pipes which carry rain water from roofs to sewer.
   MAIN DRAIN. The large, nearly horizontal, pipe which connects at one end with the sewer or cesspool and at the other end with one or more branches leading to the various fixtures.
   SOIL PIPE. Branch lines of pipe connecting with the main drain and which receive discharges from water closets.
   VENT PIPE. Lines of pipe run from the crown of traps, to communicate with outside air and used primarily to prevent syphonage of traps.
   WASTE PIPES. Branch pipes connecting with the main drain and which receive discharges from any fixtures except water closets.
