§ 150.15 INSPECTOR.
   (A)   (1)   There shall be a Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Inspector in the Department of Inspection, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Board of Aldermen, who shall enforce the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration provisions contained in the Building Code adopted by § 150.01.
      (2)   The Inspector shall be a qualified mechanical engineer with five years' practical experience or have been gainfully employed for the most recent ten years in the design and installations of heating, air conditioning or refrigeration installations and equipment.

   (B)   Among the Inspector's duties shall be in relation to the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration provisions of the Building Code adopted by § 150.01, the issuance of permits upon approval of plans; the receipt and filing of all plans; and inspection and approval of all necessary installations; the recording of all inspections and other official actions; the report of violations of the applicable provisions of that Code and determining a reasonable time in which the correction of the violations shall be made; and the performance of other duties as are directly assigned to him from time to time.
