§ 122.42 OPERATORS, LICENSED PERSONNEL, NAIL TECHNICIANS AND OTHER PERSONNEL.
   (A)   All operators, licensed personnel, nail technicians and other personnel shall comply with all applicable sections of this chapter, the state general statutes, the Connecticut Public Health Code, state and federal statutes and local, state and federal regulations in the provision of their services.
   (B)   Operators, licensed personnel, nail technicians all other shop/salon personnel shall thoroughly wash their hands with soap and hot water immediately after using the toilet, eating or smoking. Before serving each customer, operators, licensed personnel, nail technicians and all other shop/salon personnel shall thoroughly wash their hands with soap, shampoo or hand disinfectant.
   (C)   No operator, licensed personnel, nail technician or other shop/salon personnel shall eat or smoke at a workstation.
   (D)   No instrument may be placed or carried in the pockets of an operator, licensed personnel, nail technician or other shop/salon personnel.
   (E)   No operator, licensed personnel, nail technician or other shop/salon personnel shall remove warts or moles, or treat any disease of each patron, nor perform any medical procedure, such as an injection, nor dispense any medical device.
   (F)   No operator shall knowingly serve any patron who is affected with impetigo, barber's itch, lice, nits or ringworm.
