§ 115.02 INVESTIGATION OF PREMISES FOR FIRE HAZARDS.
   Upon receipt of any application for a permit to operate or promote bingo games, the Superintendent of Police shall transmit a copy of the application to the Fire Chief or Fire Marshal of the Fire Department, who shall, thereupon, inspect the premises for which the application is sought and who shall determine the safety of the premises for the congregation of the number of individuals reflected by the seating capacity for the class of permit applied for. The Fire Chief or Fire Marshal shall inspect and consider the size of the hall, room or place, the nature of the construction of the building in which it is located, its proximity to other buildings and structures and the nature thereof, the number and character of its fire escapes, fire extinguishers and exits and such other factors as he shall consider pertinent from the viewpoint of safety and the hazards of fire. After completing the inspection, the Fire Chief or Fire Marshal of the Fire Department shall submit to the Superintendent of Police a report as to all the facts and conditions disclosed by the investigation, together with their comments and recommendations based thereon as to whether in the interests of public safety a permit should be issued to the applicant. If, after the report, a permit is issued by the Superintendent of Police, the Fire Chief or Fire Marshal of the Fire Department or his authorized representative shall, from time to time, re-inspect and re-examine the premises for which the permit was issued for the purposes and in accordance with the standards hereinbefore set forth and, after periodic re-inspections and re-examinations, he shall submit reports of his findings to the Superintendent of Police with his comments and recommendations.
