§ 94.38 LICENSES FOR PERSONS SERVICING FIRE EXTINGUISHERS.
   (A)   Each person employed by a firm in the business of servicing portable fire extinguishers in the city shall be required to have a license issued by the Fire Department.

   (B)   Verified application for a license required by this section shall be made in writing on forms provided by the Fire Department, accompanied by the prescribed fee.

   (C)   The Fire Department shall require applicants for original licenses to pass an examination. This examination shall be written and may be supplemented by practical tests or demonstration deemed necessary to determine the applicant's knowledge and ability to service portable fire extinguishers. Notice of time and place of examination shall be given at least 30 days prior to the examination. Whenever the Fire Department is satisfied that substantial justice has not been done in an examination, it may order a reexamination by the same or other examiners. Examinations shall be held at such places and at such times as the Fire Department shall determine. At least two examinations per year shall be conducted.

   (D)   Upon successful completion of examination, the Fire Department shall issue a license having an identifying number.

   (E)   Verified application for renewal of a license under this section shall be made annually by each licensee.
