(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to fail to comply with any order or regulation by the Traffic Authority or for any person to fail to comply with any direction, by voice, hand or sign, of any member of the Police Department or traffic violations officer or for any person to fail to comply with any traffic sign or signal unless otherwise directed by a member of the Police Department or traffic violations officer.
(B) Employees of the city, duly authorized by resolution of the Traffic Authority, are empowered by this section to issue notices pertaining to violations of this chapter.
