The City of Waterbury and each other participating public agency of this state shall be represented on any interlocal advisory board, if any, established by an interlocal agreement to which it is a party. Its representatives shall be appointed by the Board of Aldermen or the respective legislative body of any other participating public agency of this state, or in such other manner as shall be prescribed by the Board of Aldermen or any such other legislative body. The qualifications, terms of office and compensation, if any, of the representatives shall be prescribed by the Board of Aldermen and any such other legislative body, subject to any applicable provisions of the interlocal agreement.
