Any pensioner retired from the service of the city and in receipt of a regular or disability pension who thereafter is re-employed on a regular full-time basis or provides services customarily provided by an individual employed on a full-time basis shall not be eligible to accrue any additional years of service for benefit purposes under the retirement system. Furthermore, the pension payments to the pensioner shall be suspended and no pension benefits shall be paid to the individual during the period of regular full-time employment with the city. Pension payments to the pensioners shall resume as of the first day of the month following termination of the employment or service by the pensioner without any mortality or interest adjustment.
