The rate of participant contributions to be made by an other participant to the retirement system shall be 7.5% of base pay. Participant contributions by other participants to the retirement system are mandatory as a condition of participation and accrual of benefits under the retirement system. No participant contributions shall be required after an other participant becomes entitled to the maximum pension benefit under the retirement system.
