§ 35.085 CONTRIBUTIONS OF TEACHER PARTICIPANTS.
   (A)   The rate of participant contributions to be made by a teacher participant to the retirement system shall be 1% of a teacher participant’s base pay plus any severance pay.
   (B)   Except as provided in § 35.086, teacher participants hired after March 1, 1970 participate in the State Teacher’s Retirement System, and therefore are not eligible to participate in the Retirement System.
