2-2-7: DECISION; TIME FRAME FOR DECISION:
Decisions of the board shall be by secret ballot and shall be certified to the city recorder within fifteen (15) days from the hearing date. For good cause, the board may extend the fifteen (15) day period to a maximum of sixty (60) days, if the employee and the city both consent. If a majority of the board finds in favor of the employee and overturns the disciplinary decision, the employee shall receive the amounts specified in Utah code section 10-3-1106(5)(b).
