A. Energy Code Adopted: The current Uniform/International Energy Code, which has been adopted by the State of Utah, for use in the State of Utah, is hereby adopted by the City. Three (3) copies of the current code shall be filed for use and examination by the public in the Office of the City Recorder. (Ord. 2007-02, 1-24-2007)
B. Penalty: It is unlawful for any person to perform any act prohibited by this section, or to fail or refuse to perform any act commanded in this section, or to aid or abet therein, or to fail or refuse to comply with any valid order issued by the building official pursuant to the provisions of this section. Permits shall not be issued to any applicant during the time the person fails to correct any defective work or noncomplying installation of equipment after written notice by the building official. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a Class B misdemeanor and subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code.
