6-6-3: SIGNAGE:
   A.   Required: Each commercial establishment or commercial center located within any commercial zone which has thirty five (35) or more required parking spaces shall be required to post metal signs, in quantities, location and in a manner approved by the chief of police. Said signs shall be placed so as to be clearly visible to the average person situated as a driver of a vehicle utilizing the parking lot. The face of the sign shall have a white background with the message text printed in a dark color. The size of the sign shall be of sufficient size to be visible to the average person from a distance of twenty feet (20'). The text on the sign shall state "Overnight Camping Prohibited", "Overnight Camping In Commercial Parking Lots Is Prohibited By Washington City Ordinance" or similar wording. In addition, below the text shall be a reference to the city ordinance number. (Ord. 2012-02, 2-8-2012)
   B.   Property Owner Responsible: The property owner shall be responsible for procurement of signs meeting the requirements of this chapter. (Ord. 2001-12, 9-26-2001; amd. 2007 Code)
