Any violation of the provisions of this chapter, either by failing to do those acts required herein, or by doing any act prohibited herein, shall be subject to fine and/or imprisonment as follows:
A. Fines: Fines shall be charged according to the master fee schedule for Washington City on file with the city.
Fines for second, third and subsequent violations are mandatory upon conviction and may not be waived.
B. Alternative; Maximum: Or, imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed six (6) months, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such. Fines for violation of this chapter shall be imposed according to the above schedule, but shall not exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00) or six (6) months in jail. (Ord. 2012-09, 5-23-2012)
