After investigation, if the Clerk-Treasurer is satisfied that (1) the application is complete, (2) the applicant has not been convicted of a crime involving violence, burglary, robbery, theft, fraud, embezzlement, dishonesty, or other conduct which demonstrates that the applicant presents a risk of crime as a seller, (3) the applicant has not violated this chapter, the Clerk-Treasurer will issue a peddler's permit to the applicant upon payment of the following fees:
(A) For 1 day (24 hours), the sum of $50;
(B) For 2 days (48 hours), the sum of $100;
(C) For 1 week, the sum of $200;
(D) For 30 days, the sum of $300;
(E) For 31 days or more, the applicant must return to the Clerk-Treasure's office for a new permit; however, not a new application or background check (as long as no complaints were made against the peddler).
