The Mayor shall have the authority to revoke the license of any person issued under the provisions of this code for any violation and conviction of the laws of this state, of the United States, or of any provision of this code, or other ordinances of the city in connection with the operation of such place of business, or for any other reason as is now or shall hereafter be provided by law or regulation.
