(A) Animal shelter. In the event an animal is adopted that has been housed in the City of Washington Animal Control and Adoption Facility, the following adoption fees shall apply:
(1) Dog/puppy adoption.
(a) Adoption fee: $35;
(b) Spay/neuter payment:$110 (total $145);
(d) Previously spayed/neutered: $50 (microchip included in pricing).
(2) Cat/kitten adoption.
(a) Spay/neuter payment total:$60;
(b) Previously spayed/neutered: $40;
(c) Microchip fee (optional): $10.
(3) All fees except cost of spay/neuter may be waived at the discretion of Department head.
(B) If the Washington Animal Control and Adoption Facility has adequate room in the facility at the time. This shall be determined by the Animal Control Office Manager.
