The Street Department of this city shall place and maintain traffic-control signs, signals and devices when and as required under the traffic code, any other applicable ordinances of the city and state law, and may place and maintain additional traffic-control devices as may be deemed necessary by the Board of Public Works and Safety to regulate traffic of the city or to guide or warn traffic.
