There are in place at the time of the passage of this code, signs on or alongside city streets, which signs as currently in place, or placed after the passage of this code, shall be valid designations of all one-way streets, stop intersections, yield intersections, signalized intersections, no-parking zones, curb loading zones, and the like and any and all limitations as reflected in existing or subsequently placed signs shall be controlling and it shall not therefore be necessary to list each and every limiting designation within the body of this code.
