§ 52.008 CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS FOR SEWERS AND MANHOLES.
   (A)   There shall be a manhole located no greater than a distance of every 400 feet over a sewage line and the manhole covers shall be cast iron. Manholes are also to be placed at each change in direction, at each change in size of pipe, at each intersection of 2 or more sewers and at the beginning and end of a sewer line.
   (B)   All sewer lines constructed must be at least 8 inches in diameter.
   (C)   All restaurants and industrial sites must tap into a manhole, if it is available, and if a manhole is not available in which to tap, then the restaurant facility and/or industrial site must install a manhole at his or her or its expense.
   (D)   All lift stations, if constructed and erected by private contractors, must tap into a manhole and if one is available, the contractor must install one at his or her expense.
   (E)   All sewer lines dedicated to the city must tap into manholes and if none are available, the manholes must be installed at the expense of the individual or corporation desiring to dedicate the sewer line.
   (F)   All above specifications shall be in conformity with and in compliance of EPA Regulations for State Standards of Sewers Design, a copy of which is attached and made a part of, and incorporated by reference herein.
