The Common Council of the City of Washington hereby determines that the City's previously established Rainy Day Fund is hereby adopted as a Rainy Day Fund as defined in I.C. 36-1-8-5.1 and the purposes of said Rainy Day Fund is to meet all emergencies, contingencies, and other extreme financial hardships which may occur from time to time and further that said Rainy Day Fund may be funded by any source which is permitted by I.C. 36-1-8-5.1 including, but not limited to, EDIT funds which may become available to the City of Washington.
