(A) There is hereby created in the City of Washington a fund entitled “Municipal Donation Fund.”
(B) The purpose of the fund shall be to receive donations from individuals or entities, which donations shall be used for various projects throughout the city which will improve the beautification of the city or improve the quality of life, safety and/or well-being of its citizens.
(C) The Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to receive donations in the form of cash or other property to convert that other property into cash, and to pay bills and charges as they become due for the above stated purposes.
