§ 31.05 FORM OF PREVIOUS QUESTION.
   The previous question shall be put in this form: “Shall the main question now be put?” It shall be admitted only when demanded by a majority of the members present and until decided, shall preclude amendments. If decided in the affirmative, the Chair shall put the question first upon the pending amendment, if any, and then upon the main question.
