(A) The Chiefs of Police and Fire Departments and the heads of the Departments of Law, Wastewater, Electric/Line, Engineering, Waterworks, Street, Buildings, Utility Office, and Information Technology Department are appointed by the Mayor and shall serve at his or her pleasure.
(B) Pursuant to I.C. 36-4-9-8, the Mayor shall appoint all other officers, employees, boards and commissions required by ordinance or Indiana Statute and the appointees shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
