Every application for a retail beer license, together with such information as is required to be attached thereto, shall be referred to the county sheriff for inspection and report. The county sheriff shall, within ten (10) days after receiving such application, report in writing to the county clerk/auditor: a) the criminal history, if any, of the applicant; b) whether the place is or has been conducted in a lawful manner; and c) the proximity of such premises to any school, church, park or library.
