5-4-2: A2 AGRICULTURAL TRANSITIONAL ZONE:
   A.   Description: Land zoned A2 is for agricultural purposes but due to its size and/or environmental conditions, it would be better suited for rural residential development.
   B.   Permitted Uses: The following uses shall be permitted in all A2 zones:
All uses as permitted in A1 agricultural zone.
Residential subdivisions with lots one acre or larger. (Ord. 51, 9-2-2003)
   C.   Special Uses: The commission may, after notice and public hearing, recommend to the board and the board may permit the following uses. The board shall have the authority to impose such conditions and safeguards as it deems necessary to protect the best interests of the surrounding property or neighborhood from damage, hazard, nuisance or other detriment:
All special uses allowed in an A1 zone, excluding concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs), gas and oil well development, prisons, correctional facilities, detention centers or facilities, secure facilities and facilities of a like nature, and any such uses or development to be determined on a case by case basis by the board upon recommendation of the commission.
