(A) For the purpose of this Zoning Code, certain terms and words are to be defined as found in this subchapter. Words and terms not specifically defined carry their customarily understood meanings. Words used in the present tense include the future tense. The singular form shall include plural and plural shall include singular. The word SHALL is intended to be mandatory. OCCUPIED or USED shall be considered as though followed by the words “or intended, arranged or designed to be used or occupied”.
(B) Specific terms related to swimming pools, signs, and landscaping, are defined within the specific sections of this chapter where those general requirements are found.
