§ 155.087 ELECTRIC, GAS, AND TELEPHONE IMPROVEMENTS.
   (A)   Electric service and telephone service shall be provided within each subdivision. Gas service may be required where reasonably accessible. Telephone, electric, and street lighting wires, conduits and cables shall be constructed underground except in cases where the City Engineer determines that geographic, bedrock, underground water, or other conditions would result in excessive costs to the subdivider.
   (B)   Overhead utility lines are not permitted. The width of the easement per lot shall be not less than five feet and the total easement width shall be not less than ten feet.
   (C)   Whenever a sanitary sewer line and electric and/or telephone line are each placed underground in the same utility easement, the following provisions shall be applicable:
      (1)   The total easement width shall be not less than 20 feet; and
      (2)   The sanitary sewer line shall be installed within three feet of one side of the easement, and the electric and/or telephone lines shall be installed within three feet of the opposite side of the easement.
