§ 155.085 STORM SEWERS AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE.
   (A)   Where an adequate public storm sewer is available at the plat boundary, the subdivider shall construct a storm sewer system and connect with storm sewer line. If such a storm sewer system is not accessible, closed conduit or natural drainage channels with easements of adequate width shall be provided, as determined by the city and approved by the City Planning Commission. Paved ditch gutters or storm sewers shall be required if velocities of flow are greater than specified in § 155.084 or cause destructive erosion. Storm drainage including surface water, groundwater, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, foundation drains, uncontaminated cooling water, or unpolluted industrial process waters, shall not be permitted to discharge into any sanitary sewer facility, but shall connect to an adequate drainage outlet.
   (B)   In addition to running storm sewer mains in the streets, each lot in the subdivision, shall have a 4" line stubbed off of this main storm sewer to carry the rainwater from downspouts, foundation drains, and other storm water away from the property. This connection shall be located on the as-built drawings of the plat and shall extend behind the sidewalk of the property for easy access for the homeowner.
