Acceptable street surface courses include: asphalt concrete (ODOT Spec. Item 404), bituminous road mix (ODOT Spec. Item 406), and plain portland cement concrete (ODOT Spec. Item 452). Specific material and thickness recommendations shall be determined by the Developer's Engineer, based upon traffic conditions. Tack coat (ODOT Item 407) shall be placed between successive layers and along all edges of asphalt at the rate of 0.1 gals/S.Y. Prime Coat (ODOT Item 408) shall be placed atop all base courses designated to receive an asphalt surface course.
