§ 151.05 APPOINTMENT OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR; QUALIFICATIONS; DUTIES.
   (A)   The position of Electrical Inspector for the city is hereby established. The Electrical Inspector shall be appointed by the City Manager. He shall have experience with and practical knowledge of electricity, and adequate knowledge of the National Electrical Code adopted under § 151.03. He may be removed at any time by the City Manager for cause. The compensation of the Electrical Inspector shall be determined by the City Manager with the approval of Council, and shall be paid from the City Treasury. The Electrical Inspector shall enforce the provisions of the National Electrical Code.
   (B)   No Inspector shall, during his term of office, be engaged or interested in the electric business or the sale of any electrical supplies, nor shall he act as agent, directly or indirectly, for any persons so engaged.
