§ 150.102 STOP WORK ORDER.
   Whenever, in the opinion of the Building Inspector, by reason of defective or unlawful work in violation of this Building Code or any other ordinance or state law, the continuance of work would be contrary to the public health, safety or welfare, the Building Inspector may order all further work to be stopped and may require suspension of work until the condition in violation has been remedied. Notice of such order or orders may be by verbal direction on the site of the work or in writing to be served upon the owner, agent, applicant or person having charge of such work in person or by registered mail. Personal notice may be served by the Building Inspector or by any police officer of the city upon the request of the Building Inspector.
