(A) The duties of the Director of the Department of Finance are to be those as defined by Article 7.3 of the Charter of the city.
(B) The Director of Finance shall give bond to the city in the amount of $100,000 for the faithful performance of the duties as such officer, and the charges therefor shall be paid out of funds appropriated for such purposes.
(C) Nothing contained within this section shall be construed to prohibit the City Council from assigning to the Director of Finance whatever other duties or responsibilities that said City Council may in its wisdom lawfully elect to entrust to the Director of Finance.
(D) The Council Chairperson and/or Vice-Chairperson are authorized to sign and implement any and all documentation necessary to facilitate the proper functioning of the Finance Department. They are charged with the review of all documentation relating to the city's finances, including signing checks.
