The fire official may accept alternate methods of satisfying the intent of this code if the material, method or work is the least of the equivalent of that required by the Ohio Fire Code in quality, effective-ness, durability and safety, and meets or exceeds the intent of the code (Ohio Fire Code 1301: 7-1 Sec. C) FM-100.3).
