§ 90.30 LICENSE TAGS, COLLARS AND LEASHES REQUIRED.
   (A)   No person(s) who owns, harbors, maintains, keeps or has control of a dog(s) shall permit such dog(s) to be on any public street, public way or other public place except when such dog is wearing a collar, current license tag and is secured to and controlled by the person in charge of such dog(s) by a leash of sufficient strength to support at least 40 pounds dead weight and having a length of not more than six feet; nor shall such person(s) permit such dog(s) to trespass or be upon the private property of any other person(s) without the consent of such other person(s).
   (B)   Nothing contained within this section shall be construed to regulate the service of any “Police Dog” in active service with a law enforcement agency.
   (C)   Whoever violates this section shall be guilty of failure to control a dog in a public place, a minor misdemeanor.
