§ 70.98 MISDEMEANOR CLASSIFICATIONS.
   Whoever violates any provision of this Traffic Code, for which violation no penalty is otherwise provided, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree, except that in such cases where no penalty section exists in the city code, but there is a corresponding section of the Ohio Revised Code for which a penalty clause exists, then the penalty assessed for that violation by the Ohio Revised Code shall apply.
