§ 131.09 FURNISHING PUBLICATIONS FEATURING CRIMES.
   (A)   (1)   No person shall sell, give away or in any way furnish any person with any book, magazine or other publication in which there is prominently featured an account of crime, and which depicts, by the use of drawings or photographs, the commission, attempted commission or the planning of the commission of the crimes of arson, assault with chemicals, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, kidnapping, mayhem, murder, rape, robbery, theft or voluntary manslaughter.
      (2)   This section shall not apply to those accounts of crime which are a part of the general dissemination of news nor to such drawings or photographs used to illustrate such accounts.
   (B)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
