For the purpose of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COIN-OPERATED MUSICAL INSTRUMENT. Any amusement machine, apparatus or device designed or constructed for the purpose of producing, reproducing or playing any musical or vocal tones or combination of tones, the operation or use of which instrument is permitted, controlled, allowed or made possible by the deposit or placing of any coin, plate, disc, token or key into any slot, crevice or other opening in such instrument.
PREMISES WHICH ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (or similar words.) Includes clubs, private clubs, headquarters and meeting places of fraternal and other societies, associations and bodies, and all other public places.
