APPENDIX II: MASS PROPORTION METHOD FOR COPPER
Mass proportion method was used for copper. The city has only one major copper contributor at this time, where concentration was multiplied by a factor of 1.5 for growth.
All other industry was multiplied by 5. An additional 10% safety factor was also used while allowing industry growth and protection for the WWTP.
Table no. 9 represents the local limit loadings for copper.
